Our Cradle Valley 6 bottle mixed case is the perfect introduction to our still Sussex wines.
Our Cradle Valley Rosé 2019 is made from predominantly Pinot Gris grapes, hand-harvested during the wet and wild Harvest of 2019 which produced some excellent fruit. This still wine is ballet-slipper pink, with a nose of Honeycrisp red apples and white nougat which heralds a silky palate of rhubarb, flat peaches and creamy notes of custard-drizzled. Crystallised ginger on the finish.

Our 2020 Cradle Valley still white wine is light, crisp and made from 92% Pinot Gris. This wine is lustrous yellow to the eye with an opulent nose of apricot stone and lemon blossom, a voluptuous palate of yellow plum and rosewater, with a prolonged nectarine finish.

As well as producing Sussex Sparkling wines we also make a limited amount of Sussex still wine under the Cradle Valley label. Rathfinny Estate is located in the South Downs National Park, an area of outstanding natural beauty in Southern England. It occupies the main part of Cradle Valley, on a south-facing slope close to the iconic Cuckmere Valley, just three miles from the sea and the famous Seven Sisters cliffs, about a half a mile south of Alfriston village.
