For the second year running, we are pleased to be reopening the Rathfinny Reserved programme for a limited time, offering an exclusive opportunity to reserve cases of our 2018 Blanc de Noirs and 2018 Blanc de Blancs, the most prestigious wines in our portfolio.
2018 has been widely talked about as the vintage of the century in the UK. It was an exceptional vintage with a long hot summer giving way to a warm ‘Indian summer’ allowing for perfect ripening of the grapes, which were picked in early October.
These premium Rathfinny Reserved wines have spent their first year in the bottle and they will spend a further two years ‘on-lees’ in our temperature-controlled cellar, allowing the wonderful ‘autolytic’ flavours to develop. The wines will then be disgorged in early 2022, removing the yeast lees and releasing them for collection or delivery to Rathfinny Reserved customers in the summer of that year.
These two wine blends have been met with critical acclaim and are true reflection of our Sussex terroir. Will Lyons (Sunday Times wine columnist) described the Rathfinny 2016 Blanc de Noirs wine as: “Decadent and World Class,” whilst Jamie Goode (WineAnorak.com) called our Blanc de Blancs: “One of England’s finest.”
SECURITY: Ensure you have secured your allocation of our most prestigious wines in our portfolio (usually restricted to only two bottles per person).
SPECIAL OFFER: Take advantage of an exclusive, pre-purchase case price (£26 per 75cl bottle or £54 per 150cl Magnum).
EXCLUSIVE EVENT: In March 2021, Rathfinny Reserved customers will be invited to attend an exclusive tour and tasting led by Rathfinny Owners, Mark and Sarah Driver and Head Winemaker, Jonathan Medárd. This will give you a chance to taste the wines prior to release the following year.
The minimum order is 4 cases of 6 x 75cl bottles or 4 cases of 3 x 150cl or a mix of bottles and magnums. Prior to receiving your wines, you will be required to make an additional payment of Excise Duty and VAT. See frequently asked questions below for more details.
